Two things each of these have in common.

One is a 3-day retreat. Everyone who has ever attended says that it is truly an "Encounter with Christ". Personally, I experienced God's love as never before and have not been the same since.

The other is a Spanish folk song called DeColores.
The first line goes "sings the rooster".

On June 20, 2001 www.singstherooster.com went online. In that "first edition" of Why Rooster, I said,

"I was a hyperactive child and most note cards seem to target the over serious adult.
We are the local printer, blueprinter and copy service. So I knew I should be able to do something "lighter". My friend Gail and I went to work and soon we had the rooster."

After the rooster, came a rainbow design, a butterfly design, our Chrys, and finally, the babe chicks. Our online update was called the "clucks".

We thought that it would be fun and that at least we would cover the cost. We have been truely blessed!

During Spring 2004, we are excited to introduce our line for the Kairos Prison Ministry!

But why? Why put up with "hits" on babe chicks that we really don't want? Why try to explain over and over what the Spanish terms means to Internet companies who can't understand the relationships to a rooster?

Because, I haven't been the same since.
That's why rooster.
