In June 2001 when the Rooster first went online, we choose a very basic shipping and handling charge structure. In January 2006, after a cost analysis, we discovered that we had experienced a significant cost increase. We had to bring our charges to a point that covered our cost.

Please bear in mind that the shipping & handling charge covers more than just the actual postage. The expenses of order processing include the cost of performing all the support functions that make shopping online so convenient.

Normally, orders are packed and shipped within a week, and our goal is within 72 hours. If there is a problem with an order, we will contact the customer.

A notification will be placed on the HOME PAGE should the store be temporarily closed for any reason.

Our primary carrier is the US Postal Service. Orders are shipped via Priority Mail Service. They are at your mailbox everyday and our orders are usually delivered within two or three days. The one exception would be heavy(10 pounds or more) orders which we automatically will ship UPS Ground.
